Job title: ERP Implementation Specialist
About the Role Support Tyler's clients by installing, migrating, and upgrading Tyler ERP software from OnPremise to AWS Cloud. This role combines technical installation work with client-facing communication and project collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Perform ERP software installation, data migration, and upgrade services for existing Tyler clients from OnPremise to AWS Cloud through scheduled project appointments.
- Configure application, database, and web servers with Tyler and 3rd party software, and provide technical overviews to clients on server configurations.
- Document results of service work for internal teams, and assist training staff with installation procedures.
- Travel 0-5% for team engagements or client user groups; may require Saturday coverage up to once a month based on customer requests.
- Manage complex technical issues with customers and prioritize multiple tasks; build rapport to deliver excellent customer service.
- Support the Installation Analyst in developing consistent installation standards and ensuring high-quality installations for large, complex clients.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment; self-manage projects and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- BS/BA in MIS, IT, CS, or CE or equivalent experience; 18+ months of relevant experience installing Tyler solutions.
- Experience administering and/or installing Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server; proficiency with Tyler applications.
- Strong knowledge of web servers (IIS, Apache) and secured communication (SSL); basic server hardware and network configuration knowledge.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and within a team; strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to assess issue severity and determine when escalation is needed; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS Cloud and on-premise to cloud migrations; familiarity with Tyler and 3rd party software integrations.
- Prior experience in installations planning and documenting processes; ability to train staff on installation procedures.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range generally between $46,185 - $67,000 USD per year before geographic adjustments.
