ERP/CRM Consultant

We are looking for an ERP/CRM Consultant to support a client with a Sage 100 to Sage Intacct implementation. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who can guide the full project lifecycle, from discovery and system setup through validation and launch readiness. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Sage Intacct delivery experience, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to translate business needs into a reliable, well-structured solution.

Responsibilities

• Direct the full implementation effort for moving financial operations from Sage 100 to Sage Intacct, ensuring milestones, priorities, and deliverables stay on track.

• Review the current Sage 100 environment to understand workflows, account structures, reporting needs, and operational dependencies before configuring the target platform.

• Manage data conversion activities by extracting, organizing, cleansing, and importing records such as general ledger details, payables, receivables, customer data, vendor data, open items, and historical financial information.

• Configure Sage Intacct to align with accounting processes, business rules, and reporting requirements established during project discovery.

• Partner with business stakeholders to document functional needs, resolve process gaps, and confirm that the new solution supports day-to-day finance operations.

• Coordinate testing efforts by preparing test scenarios, validating migrated data, troubleshooting issues, and confirming system performance prior to deployment.

• Provide go-live support and post-deployment guidance to promote a smooth transition and timely resolution of implementation issues.

• Demonstrated experience delivering multiple Sage Intacct implementations, including at least one migration from Sage 100.

• Strong understanding of core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial data management.

• Proven ability to handle data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and migration for complex ERP projects.

• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system configuration and process recommendations.

• Familiarity with configuration management practices and structured testing methods for enterprise applications.

• Working knowledge of API development, client-side scripting, or related technical tools that support integrations and customization efforts.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance and business teams.
