Equipment Superintendent

About the Role Equipment Superintendent to coordinate, facilitate, and execute equipment activities across construction projects. Responsible for field leadership of maintenance and readiness, safety, cost control, and reporting to senior management. Will manage a team and coordinate with district, internal JV, and external JV partners. What You'll Do

• Provide field leadership and management of equipment maintenance and readiness to meet specific project needs.
• Ensure project safety and quality performance through personal example as well as supervision activities.
• Control and track all aspects of equipment cost.
• Provide senior management with equipment recap reports.
• Train, develop, coach and maintain morale of direct and indirect reports; ensure retention and engagement.
• Develop and maintain team cohesion among district, internal joint venture, and external joint venture partner employees.
• Coordinate work with other co-workers on the job and work within company data systems to record and track equipment maintenance and utilization. What We're Looking For
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience in construction.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a mechanical related field.
• Knowledge of construction safety and current federal requirements.
• Broad knowledge of engineering and construction methods.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills; proficiency with data systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; self-starter, highly motivated, and able to travel with short notice.
• Integrity and ethical behavior; adherence to Kiewit ethics policy.
• Willingness to travel (up to 95%) and ability to relocate as needed.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities. Compensation & Benefits
• Base Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000 per year.
