About the Role Equipment Operator at Owens & Minor (in partnership with Accendra Health) supporting healthcare supply chain operations. Based in Kennesaw, GA, this role safely operates equipment and handles materials to ensure timely and accurate movement of medical supplies.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate warehouse equipment to move, stack, and load/unload medical supplies within Owens & Minor facilities.
- Follow safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with inventory control and accuracy of shipping/receiving documentation.
- Maintain equipment and workspace in clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Collaborate with teammates to meet daily productivity goals.
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment; forklift certification preferred.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; ability to lift and maneuver loads; good communication.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Nice to Have
- Inventory management software experience.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Forklift certification (if not already provided).
