About the Role The Equipment Maintenance Technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor processing tools, diagnose issues, and optimize tool performance to support yield and production efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with engineers, production staff, and vendors, with a focus on safety, documentation, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor tools including Dicing, Wafer Mounter, Stealth Dicing, and Auto Die Separator; diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues; replace defective parts; ensure minimal downtime; assist in setup, installation, and qualification of new equipment; identify root causes and work with engineers to implement solutions; optimize tool performance to improve yield and production efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance; follow safety and cleanroom protocols to comply with ISO and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, production staff, and vendors to resolve technical issues; proactively suggest improvements to reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability and uptime.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma/NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Willing to work 12-hour shift.
