Job title: Equipment Maintenance Engineer
About the Role To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, the role involves responsibilities for activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
What You'll Do
- Act as area manager in a cross-functional team (CFT)
- Check and calibrate equipment to ensure repeatability and accuracy
- Install new equipment
- Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns
- Stay informed of production plans and progress
- Organize teams to ensure 24-hour coverage
- Work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or computer systems
- Troubleshoot to identify machine faults and address MTTR/MTBF
- Perform preventive maintenance at specified intervals
- Follow up on minutes and close out actions on SMT & BKN equipment engineering platforms
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience
- Experience in a similar position in electronic manufacturing environment
- Intermediate English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience in SMT, PTH & PCBA
- Knowledge in preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance
- Experience in automatic component insertion machines
