Job Description
Summary The Equipment Engineer II is an experienced individual who will support the manufacturing and production plan, ensure the safety of the workplace, optimize equipment and maximize manufacturing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and support line capacities through cycle time and downtime reduction activities. This role will lead key initiatives and possibly support mentorship and development of others in the equipment organization.
Responsibilities
- Utilize data analysis and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) to lead, support, develop and justify solutions with related groups/departments to solve complex equipment related problems
- Monitor and manage equipment to ensure optimal manufacturing performance and function, while minimizing operating expenses and ensuring safety
