Job title: Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst
About the Role Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst serves as the subject matter expert for inpatient pharmacy workflows within the Epic EHR platform. The role requires Epic Willow Inpatient certification and strong experience in day-to-day operations, stakeholder engagement, and offshore team collaboration on Accenture Flex projects. You will help drive clinical and operational improvements for client pharmacy workflows.
What You'll Do
- Serve as primary SME for Epic Willow Inpatient workflows and configurations
- Manage and prioritize daily support activities; ensure incident and service request resolution per SLAs
- Monitor and resolve error queues, label/printer issues, and pharmacy automation interfaces
- Troubleshoot dispensing cabinet/robot interface issues including ID mapping
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Build and maintain inpatient pharmacy configurations within Epic
- Manage medication order sets, formulary setup, and dose checking rules
- Configure NDC billing builds, pharmacy charge maps, and 340B workflows
- Support medication builds (IV mixtures, compounding, repackaging)
- Manage medication loads (Medispan) and formulary accuracy
- Develop and maintain BPA/OPA alert builds for CDSS and patient safety
- Support CPOE and pharmacy verification workflows
- Liaise with client stakeholders to align system capabilities with clinical and business needs
- Partner with pharmacists, nursing, physicians, and operations teams to optimize workflows
- Coordinate with Accenture, vendor, and client contacts across application activities
- Coordinate with offshore teams on task delegation, communication, and performance
- Participate in team meetings with updates on status, risks, resource needs
- Maintain system documentation: workflows, build specs, testing protocols
- Ensure HIPAA, data governance, medication safety standards, and security policies
- Develop and deliver end-user training materials and sessions
- Support system design, testing, and implementation for upgrades/enhancements
