About the Role
The Advanced Technology Centers (ATCs) at Accenture are seeking an Epic Tapestry Certified - Utilization Management - Consultant to lead cross-functional engagements, collaborating with Accenture teams, software vendors, and client resources to implement utilization management solutions in healthcare IT. What You'll Do

Oversee collaboration of multiple teams (Accenture, vendor, and client) on Epic Utilization Management initiatives.

Create detailed project plans from end-user information; obtain sign-off from Operations; drive status calls and updates.

Maintain executive presence in communications; be concise in escalations and status reporting.

Navigate ambiguity, identify approaches to deliver on scope, and investigate areas to implement standard processes.

Drive status updates and understand data structures, workflows, and technology capabilities/limitations.

Assist with analysis and design of new business workflows; define detailed product requirements and use cases; assign resources by skill.

Provide input into high-level functional specifications; participate in quality management reviews.

Perform or advise on system configuration, integration setup, and testing activities.

Serve as intermediary with client Epic team and Accenture tech leads to align on data, workflows, and capabilities.

Assist in development and documentation of data requests and source-to-target mappings.

Other duties as assigned; work may include implementation, optimization, upgrades, and application support.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office.

-
Minimum 5 years of Healthcare IT experience in an Epic Non-Clinical Leader role, including experience with requirements gathering from clinical leadership; Epic Tapestry certification.

Experience and certification in one of Epic's non-clinical apps (HIM, Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, etc.).

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience; if Associate Degree, minimum 6 years.

Bonus points if you have: at least 1 full Epic implementation; program or project management experience; ability to report accountability to executive leadership; experience leading multiple teams through separate iterations; people management experience and adherence to business standards. Salary ranges by location (USD/year): California $73,800-$218,800; Cleveland $68,300-$175,000; Colorado $73,800-$189,000; District of Columbia $78,500-$201,300; Illinois $68,300-$189,000; Maine $62,800-$161,000; Maryland $73,800-$189,000; Massachusetts $73,800-$201,300; Minnesota $73,800-$189,000; New York $68,300-$218,800; New Jersey $78,500-$218,800; Virginia $68,300-$201,300; Washington $80,200-$201,300.
