About this role
Job title: Epic Certified Willow Analyst
About Us
At Ellit Groups, we are passionate about bridging the gap between healthcare operations and IT, with the patient at the center of everything we do. Our mission is to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions that redefine how care is delivered in the industry.
Ellit Groups is a Private Equity-backed, woman, minority-led healthcare IT consulting firm focused on Provider and Payer organizations. We partner with healthcare leaders who value operational excellence, real-world experience, and diverse perspectives to drive better outcomes.
Our firm is built by former healthcare operators who understand the realities of running complex healthcare systems. This combination of operator credibility and investment-backed growth enables us to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions.
The Opportunity
The State of Washington is implementing the Health Care Management and Coordination System (HCMACS), a shared, enterprise-wide Epic electronic health record for people who receive health care services from the State. Today, participating agencies rely on a mix of paper records and separate systems that cannot share information. HCMACS brings them onto one Epic platform to improve care coordination, give providers real-time access to patient information, and make it easier for patients to access their own records.
Participating agencies include the Washington State Department of Corrections (DOC), the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), the Health Care Authority (HCA), and Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech). The system will support DOC correctional facilities, DSHS Behavioral Health Administration facilities, and safety-net organizations serving Apple Health (Medicaid) patients, including Federally Qualified Health Centers, Tribes and Indian health care providers, behavioral health providers, rural health providers, and critical access hospitals.
Washington is implementing HCMACS using Epic Orchard, an approach in which the system is hosted in Epic's cloud environment. Washington was recognized at Epic's User Group Meeting as the first state to advance an enterprise EHR across multiple state agencies and community providers. Ellit Groups has been selected as the implementation support vendor, and this is a rare opportunity to help deliver a first-of-its-kind, statewide public-sector Epic Orchard implementation.
Project Details
- Start: January 2027, ahead of the full Epic kickoff with Washington State in February 2027
- Go-live: Single "big bang" go-live scheduled for March 2028
- Duration: Through the end of June 2028, with possible extensions beyond June 2028

Role Overview
The Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst will configure, test, and implement inpatient pharmacy workflows across participating facilities. This role is part of the Ellit Groups implementation team supporting Washington State's HCMACS Epic Orchard implementation.

- Perform unit, system, and integration testing per project standards and document outcomes.
- Identify, escalate, and help resolve risks and issues; refer complex issues to the appropriate level of support.
- Participate in change control processes and follow defined standards and best practices.
- Support go-live readiness, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
