Job Title: EPC Accountant

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced EPC Accountant to manage financial and accounting activities related to engineering, procurement, and construction projects.
• The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of project accounting, cost monitoring, financial reporting, and experience working in an EPC, engineering, construction, or related project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for EPC projects.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
• Prepare project financial reports, statements, and cost analyses.
• Track project expenditures against approved budgets and identify variances.
• Process and reconcile invoices, payments, receivables, and payables.
• Review vendor and subcontractor invoices and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of project-related financial transactions.
• Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
• Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and project accounts.
• Monitor purchase orders, commitments, and project expenses.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within an EPC, engineering, construction, oil & gas, or project-based environment.
• Strong understanding of project accounting and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project-related transactions.
• Must be based in or willing to work in Abuja.

Salary

N350,000 monthly (net).
