EPBCS Analyst IT

About the Role Mattel Global Business Services is seeking an EPBCS Analyst IT to design, configure, and support Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) applications that enable robust FP&A processes. This role focuses on building scalable financial planning, forecasting, and reporting solutions while aligning with governance and change management. What You'll Do

• Design and implement EPBCS applications covering Financial Planning (Revenue, Expense, OPEX, CAPEX), Workforce Planning, Capital Asset Planning, Profitability and Cost Allocation models; configure cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, metadata; build forms, dashboards, and task lists; implement business rules and validation logic
• Develop and automate calculation logic using Business Rules (Calculation Manager) and Groovy scripts; implement allocations, driver-based planning, currency conversions, forecasting models; optimize performance
• Manage data integrations between EPBCS and source systems (ERP, data warehouses) using FDMEE / EPM Data Integration, Smart Push / Data Maps, REST APIs where applicable; perform data validation and reconciliation
• Build and support financial reports and dashboards with Smart View; produce management and financial reporting; support ad-hoc FP&A analysis
• Provide L2/L3 production support for EPBCS applications; troubleshoot issues; support monthly/quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles; handle enhancements and change requests
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and stakeholders; translate requirements into EPBCS design and configurations; facilitate requirement gathering and UAT
• Lead testing activities (unit testing, system integration testing, UAT); manage migrations across DEV/TEST/PROD; document releases and changes
• Maintain functional and technical design documents; ensure compliance with financial governance and audit requirements; support change management and release processes What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field; 3–5 years of experience in Oracle EPM/Hyperion/EPBCS implementations
• Strong hands-on EPBCS configuration and administration; financial planning and forecasting models; business rules and calculation logic
• Good understanding of FP&A processes (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis) and data integration tools (FDMEE / Data Management); Smart View reporting; metadata and dimensional modeling Nice to Have
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service implementations
• Groovy scripting in EPM Cloud; exposure to Essbase architecture and optimization
