About the Role Join Gerresheimer AG to support production of pharmaceutical primary packaging and drug-delivery systems across a diverse and innovative product range. As an Environmental Specialist in Production, you will help ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety standards while contributing to sustainable manufacturing and quality.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and EHS policies on production lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support packaging production (glass and plastic) and related processes.
- Identify environmental risks, support incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement.
- Assist with audits, documentation and training to maintain site standards.
What We're Looking For
- Background in environmental engineering, sustainability, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience in a production/manufacturing environment and understanding of regulatory requirements (waste, emissions, water, air).
- Problem-solving mindset, good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in a diverse, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of German or local language relevant to the site is a plus.
- Experience with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
