About the Role The Environmental Services Technician performs a wide range of duties within assigned area(s) following procedures and protocol, supporting Logan Health's mission and core values. This role emphasizes cleaning, infection control, equipment handling, confidentiality, and teamwork to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do
- Prioritize job functions to maintain proper workflow and identify needs without explicit direction.
- Operate and maintain equipment and devices per area requirements; stock and manage carts and supplies.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols; safeguard patient and/or customer information.
- Respond to pages in a timely manner; perform duties per department procedures and Montana laws and regulations.
- Maintain regular attendance and work as part of a team or independently as needed.
- Foster a respectful, confidential, and professional environment while communicating effectively with diverse audiences. What We're Looking For
- Minimum of one (1) year related experience preferred; proficiency in English required.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions; self-motivated with strong teamwork, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Knowledge of proper use of commercial equipment; computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new software.
- Prior experience answering phones and responding to pages preferred; commitment to confidentiality. Nice to Have
