Environmental Services Technician

About the Role The Environmental Services Technician performs a wide range of duties in the assigned area(s) following procedures and protocols. This role supports Logan Health's mission, vision, and values of quality, compassionate care and patient safety through effective cleaning, disinfection, and environmental maintenance.

Shift: Night Shift - 8 Hours. Logan Health operates 24/7; schedules may be adjusted to meet the needs of the organization.

Note: Pre-employment screening will be required, including criminal background checks, reference checks, drug screening, health and immunizations screening, and a physical demand review. What You'll Do

• Prioritize job functions to maintain proper workflow.
• Identify the need and perform duties without specific direction.
• Exhibit working knowledge and correct usage of equipment and devices per assigned area(s). Maintain equipment and resources appropriately and safely.
• Exhibit working knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Follow confidentiality and safeguards for all patient and/or customer related information.
• Respond to pages in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Perform job duties efficiently and per department procedure, protocol and in accordance with State of Montana laws and regulations, for assigned area(s).
• Stock assigned carts for appropriate departments in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s). What We're Looking For
• Minimum of one (1) year related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language required.
• Possess ability to follow written and oral instructions required.
• Self motivated and possess ability to work effectively in a team environment and with a diverse customer and coworker population required.
• Prior experience answering phones and responding to pages preferred.
• Possess knowledge of the proper use of commercial equipment and devices preferred.
• Promotes excellence through setting high standards and providing high quality outcomes.
• Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and exhibit empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed. Nice to Have
