Environmental Services Technician

About the Role The Environmental Services Technician performs a wide range of duties related to Environmental Services and Laundry, following area procedures and protocols to support Logan Health's mission and values. This role contributes to quality, compassionate care and upholds core values of kindness, trust, teamwork, and excellence. What You'll Do

• Prioritize job functions to maintain proper workflow.
• Identify needs and perform duties without specific direction.
• Exhibit working knowledge and correct usage of equipment and devices in assigned areas; maintain equipment and resources safely.
• Apply aseptic techniques and infection control as applicable to the area.
• Safeguard patient and/or customer information and maintain confidentiality.
• Respond to pages in a timely manner as applicable to the assigned area.
• Perform duties efficiently and per department procedures and Montana laws/regulations; stock assigned carts for departments.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance as scheduled; work as part of a team and independently as needed.
• Communicate effectively with diverse audiences and demonstrate integrity, kindness, and empathy. What We're Looking For
• Minimum of one year related experience preferred; proficiency in English required.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions; self-motivated and team-oriented with ability to work with a diverse population.
• Prior experience answering phones and responding to pages preferred.
• Knowledge of proper use of commercial equipment and devices preferred.
• High standards with focus on high-quality outcomes; strong organizational, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and handling sensitive information; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn other software as needed. Nice to Have
• Prior experience answering phones and responding to pages (already noted as preferred). Compensation & Benefits
• PRN (Casual/As Needed) status with flexible scheduling; Logan Health operates 24/7 and may adjust schedules.
