Job title: Environmental Products Trader
About the Role An experienced, ambitious, and proactive individual will be responsible for a portfolio of Environmental products. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and directly engage with clients. Commercial ability to maintain good relationships with clients and find new ones to bring flow.
What You'll Do
- Manage client relationships and act as the point of escalation; keep clients up to date with market trends and developments; promote cross-division and cross-region sales; assist the risk division in prudent risk management of all financial clearing clients.
- P&L: Grow income in Environmental products through agency broking; introduce new clearing and execution clients; identify opportunities and ensure efficient setup; monitor and maintain client performance, revenue, returns and risk.
- Other: Deal in commodities (power, carbon and renewables); directly correspond with clients; assist onboarding of new client relationships; support processes; develop strategies to increase P&L; collaborate with operations and technology; ensure compliance with MAS authorization; adhere to the risk framework; role model for highest standards of integrity and conduct; comply with Marex's Code of Conduct; notify of policy breaches; escalate risk events; provide input to risk management processes.
- Standard Responsibilities: Ensure regulatory compliance; adhere to the operational risk framework; escalate risk events immediately; provide input to risk management; report breaches; uphold Marex Code of Conduct; adhere to internal policies.

Nice to Have
- Experience in energy markets (power, carbon, renewables) and onboarding/new client development will be advantageous.
