Job title: Environmental Engineer
About the Role Assigned to a project, this Environmental Engineer is responsible for carrying out activities assigned by the Environmental Leader, ensuring project quality and timelines. The Environmental Engineer reports to the Environmental Leader on project-specific matters and documentation quality.
What You'll Do
- Carry out activities assigned by the Environmental Leader to ensure project quality and timelines.
- Develop and implement Environment Management Plans.
- Conduct Environmental Monitoring.
- Deliver training/awareness sessions on environment procedures and standards.
- Perform environmental audits and inspections.
- Investigate environment-related incidents and determine immediate and root causes.
- Coordinate with other engineers and designers as needed.
- Communicate effectively in English (spoken and written) and maintain strong interpersonal skills.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science from an institution authorized to grant academic degrees.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in any industry, with at least 3 years in managing environmental aspects in oil & gas or petrochemical projects/operations.
- NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH Certificate for Environmental Management.
- ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor.
- Other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion).
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, self-motivation, and good communication skills.
- Ability to work on rotation schedules and travel as required.
Nice to Have
- Any other HSE trainings/certifications will be considered an advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Excellent salary package with benefits.

- Rotation: 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid).
