About the Role Entry level position with Delaware County's Regional Sewer District focused on wastewater collections. The role involves inspecting sewers, operating equipment, and clearing blockages to maintain the sanitary sewer system and protect communities. The position includes training and certification timelines (CDL Class B within 12 months; Ohio EPA Class I Collections within 18 months) and hands-on use of vacuum/jet trucks and sewer camera systems. What You'll Do
- Inspect sewers to identify blockages and maintenance needs.
- Operate vacuum/jet trucks and sewer camera systems.
- Clear blockages and assist with routine maintenance of the collection system.
- Adhere to safety procedures and reporting requirements. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Ohio driver's license.
- CDL Class B within 12 months of hire.
- Ohio EPA Class I Collections certification within 18 months.
- Ability to operate vacuum/jet trucks and sewer camera systems.
- Proficiency with safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
