Job title: Entry-Level Talent Scientist
About the Role Canonical is seeking entry-level talent to join our Talent Science team. The role supports objective, scientifically rigorous, and efficient hiring processes designed to select the very best new colleagues across locations, cultures and backgrounds. You will contribute to building a data-driven, behaviourally informed recruitment ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Provide support for objective, evidence-based selection processes within Canonical's hiring ecosystem.
- Leverage data and behavioural science to inform hiring decisions and improve candidate assessment.
- Collaborate with Hiring Leadership and stakeholders to ensure decisions are made in the right way and that the hiring model supports world-class talent selection.
- Help sustain and scale Canonical's globally distributed recruitment strategy, including in-person alignment sessions 2-4 times per year.
What We're Looking For
- A psychology-based degree.
- Interest in evidence-based hiring, data-driven decision making, and behavioural science.
- Enthusiasm for working in a globally distributed team and for open-source culture.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
