Entry-Level Engineer
Position Overview
This position is within the Automated Vehicle Systems team focused on Safety and Cyber Securty integration for ADAS/Autonomous systems in vehicle architecture focused on delivering L4 autonomous vehicle solutions. This position will work closely with the global team, product owner, component groups, software engineering teams and validation group during product lifecycle. This role is that of an individual contributor and will be assigned to a small system or subsystem team to develop/implement necessary controls based on defined or updated requirements.
We're looking for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, influencing software architecture, and learning new domains. This is an opportunity to bring modern application security practices to the future of commercial vehicle software.
This position is located at International's design center in Lisle, Illinois, with occasional travel to test facilities, suppliers, and customer locations.
Responsibilities

Support safety and security requirements and definitions within next-generation vehicle architecture.

Partner with global systems, safety and technical systems owners to develop security definitions within the product specification and requirements catalog

Participate in architecture reviews, secure design discussions, and threat modeling.

Identify security, integration, and reliability risks.

Support diagnostics, software updates, APIs, communication services, and secure platform infrastructure.

Assist with software integration, system-level debugging, and cross-functional technical problem solving.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
