About this role
Job title: Entry Engineer
About the Role The Entry Engineer will assist in designing and developing manufacturing processes for Advanced Filtration & Separation (AFS) products. Under guidance of experienced engineers, you will create 3D models and CAD drawings, manage design metadata in Vault Pro, generate BOMs in SAP, and process ECNs/DCNs to support design changes.
What You'll Do
- Create 3D models and CAD drawings of engineered products / process equipment, including general arrangement, assembly and fabrication drawings.
- Convert 2D drawings to 3D models, modify, improve, and reverse engineer existing designs and products. Work with i-Factories and i-Properties of 3D Model files.
- Create and update metadata of designs and 3D models in Vault Pro (PDM/PLM) for records, control and retrieval, and ensure release-ready status.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) in ERP / SAP.
- Design and detailing of Wastewater Treatment Products like Pressure Sand filters, Self-Cleaning filters, Hydro-Cyclones, In-take screens, Filter Press, Clarifiers, Thickeners, etc.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis of design / dimensional errors and bring out corrective action.
- Prepare ECN (Engineering Change Notice) or DCN (Design Change Notice) and coordinate to complete the process.
- Review and continuously improve the existing modeling approach to reduce the modeling / design execution time.
- Cross functional interaction / coordination to ensure product / equipment design meeting the complete technical requirement.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers to address technical requirement and coordinate with global team to address design queries.

- Exposure in Autodesk Vault or equivalent software for PDM.
- Experience in equipment / product design and detail engineering with fair knowledge of material specification, fabrication detailing are preferred.
- Experience in design & detail engineering (preparation of GA, Fabrication drawings, BOM etc.) of Pressure Sand filters, Self-Cleaning filters, Hydro-Cyclones, In-take screens, Filter Press, Clarifiers, Thickeners, etc., are preferred.
- Experience in equipment design and detail engineering in the domain of Water and Wastewater Treatment is preferred or similar experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemical process and Power plants can be considered.
- Exposure to MS Office package for preparing necessary documents, excel files and ppt’s will be an advantage.
