About the Role The Enterprise Voice Engineer will sustain and administer a large, complex IP voice and video communications network for DISA, ensuring secure, reliable, and uninterrupted voice services. This role supports DISA-provided capabilities with DoD security requirements and requires TS/SCI clearance. What You'll Do
- Perform engineering tasks to maintain a large, complex and highly resilient IP voice and video communications infrastructure.
- Manage, configure, troubleshoot and assure service supporting voice, video and data networks; document diagrams and WAN principles.
- Perform system maintenance, capacity planning and complete configuration changes and documentation.
- Configure and implement calling search spaces, route plans, route partitions, route lists and device profiles.
- Configure Cisco or Juniper routing and switching devices; support distributed firewall infrastructure.
- Provide input in development of technical policy, work instructions and reporting for an enterprise IP telephony network.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical problems involving SIP signaling, call flows, and remote site registration; validate change requests and accuracy.
- Fault analysis and configuration of voice subscribers, call handlers and routing rules; configure and troubleshoot QoS for voice traffic. What We're Looking For
- DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II or Security+ CE (or equivalent).
- Experience with Cisco, Avaya or Oracle voice platforms (CUCM, Unity, CUBE, Oracle SBC, Avaya Aura Server).
- Expertise in SIP signaling and call flow; advanced fault analysis for routing, switching, security and large-scale voice deployments.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance. Nice to Have
- SRTP with associated codecs (G.711, G.729).
- Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager or Avaya Aura soft switches; Oracle SBCs and other voice media gateways.
- Experience supporting distributed firewall infrastructure; IPSec MPLS VPN; BGP; QoS for voice and critical apps.
- Familiarity with IPSec implementation and troubleshooting. Compensation & Benefits
