Job title: Enterprise Project Manager
About the Role Canonical is hiring an Enterprise Project Manager to own, drive, communicate, and engage stakeholders to ensure project success across a portfolio of complex software initiatives. This globally remote role focuses on delivering programs within schedule, scope, cost and resources while maintaining customer focus and accountability.
What You'll Do
- Ensure programs and projects are delivered within the schedule, scope, cost, budget and resources expectations
- Identify key technical and project risks and issues and actively put mitigating actions in place
- Maintain strong customer focus and work with all key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
- Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers and provide direction when needed
- Manage the delivery schedule of critical third party deliverables for the project
- Advocate to customers the appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio
- Drive project success while managing risks
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Enterprise IT Programs, Process Improvement, and Software Engineering Project Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience leading cross-cultural, remote and global project teams and customers
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Deep understanding of Linux, Open Source, and Cloud Technologies
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline
- Project Management Certification, preferably PMP or equivalent certification
- Agile Project Management certification, preferably Scrum Master or equivalent certification
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
