About this role
Description
-
The Enterprise Architect provides architecture direction and accountability across the full Corporate Technology organization, spanning Global Finance Tech, Legal Tech, and People, Purpose & Brand Tech. The role owns the space between these domains, establishing cross-domain reference architectures and reusable patterns for shared capabilities such as identity, entitlements, and segregation of duties; document, contract, and records management; workflow and approval orchestration; reporting, evidencing, and audit trail; and AI deployment patterns. The role ensures that portfolio decisions converge on consistent, reusable solutions rather than solving the same need three times.
-
This architect reports to the Senior Director, Architecture and represents Corporate Technology with hands-on depth in Enterprise Architecture initiatives and focus groups, including AI, data, and threat and security. Working within Corporate Technology's SaaS-dense, buy-first ecosystem, the role shapes enterprise standards rather than simply receiving them, connects enterprise initiatives to Corporate Technology initiatives and back again, and resolves cross-domain concerns before they escalate.

Connect enterprise initiatives to Corporate Technology initiatives and back again, leading cross-domain strategy and change efforts so feedback flows both ways and consistency is achieved by design rather than by exception.
-
Ensure consistent architecture and engineering discipline across the three domains, reviewing major designs for consistency, maintainability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness, and providing recommendations on product, platform, and high-level solution architecture.
-
Own cross-domain reference architectures and reusable patterns for shared capabilities, including identity, entitlements, and segregation of duties; document, contract, and records management; workflow and approval orchestration; and reporting, evidencing, and audit trail, prototyping complex cross-platform solutions where needed to validate direction.
-
Connect business and solution architecture with emerging technologies, establishing AI architecture and control patterns for Corporate Technology deployments, including retrieval over sensitive content, human oversight, logging, evidencing, and legal, privacy, and security requirements.
-
Implement and enforce the Enterprise Architecture governance framework for Corporate Technology, facilitating decision-making and prioritization forums, architecture decision records, and variance tracking with expiry and review dates.
-
Lead adoption of enterprise playbook components across the three domains, including event-driven architecture, observability, zero trust, and data privacy, to increase sharing and reuse, and report on compliance.
-
Maintain a cross-domain capability and platform inventory and assess effort and value for cross-domain priorities; guide and prioritize the architecture backlog and provide executive-level consultation on planning, rationalization, and investment decisions with capability owners and Finance.
