Enterprise Applications Engineer II
We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Applications Engineer II to support the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance Salesforce and ecosystem solutions. This role is responsible for building and maintaining applications across Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications on the Salesforce Platform. You will apply Salesforce development, integration patterns, data modeling, and system design to align platform capabilities with business objectives, optimize systems for performance and security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior engineers.
Primary Duties Scalable Solution Design and Execution (30 percent): Develop programmatic cross-module workflows and scripts to capture API payload data and pipeline performance metrics; apply analytical thinking to diagnose Salesforce system anomalies and data sync drifts; choose between declarative and programmatic execution, using custom code (Apex, LWC) when native Flows cannot meet scale.
Portfolio Execution and Technical Delivery (25 percent): Implement custom integrations and core Salesforce features while minimizing risks from API deprecations or vendor updates; take ownership of integration issues, failing queues, or deployment locks during release cycles; deliver production-ready, bulkified code within target timeframes with automated testing, version control, and health monitoring within Governor limits.
Cross-Functional Integration and Compliance (20 percent): Collaborate with Data Engineering, Security, Finance on custom integrations to ensure architectures support adjacent business workflows; prioritize and resolve complex bug fixes in custom code, instrument API endpoints and Salesforce Event Monitoring for observability; troubleshoot and resolve application alerts and system sync issues within SLAs.
Technical Support and DevOps Practices (25 percent): Participate in DevOps practices to reduce deployment friction and engage in peer code reviews focused on bulkification, efficiency, and code quality; safely utilize AI-assisted development tools while evaluating AI-suggested SOQL structures and asynchronous patterns against execution limits; identify manual processes for automation and document procedures and incident post-mortems.
