About the Role This position serves as the primary office point of contact for current and prospective students, parents, and the community, with a focus on student financial account inquiries. As the One-Stop point of contact, you will assess needs and provide centralized enrollment support across college departments. What You'll Do
- Process admission applications and all student documents (high school transcripts, unofficial college transcripts, chargeback requests).
- Provide enrollment support via front counter, chatbot, text messaging, email, and phone.
- Support operations using CRM and ERP systems.
- Provide student account support for online accounts (Atlantic Cape Connect, Self Service, Buccaneer Email, Blackboard, etc.).
- Inform students about Financial Aid eligibility and verification requirements; assist with FAFSA/HESAA alternate application and Self Service Financial Aid Checklist.
- Assist students with billing inquiries and instruction on payments via Self Service.
- Guide students through the enrollment experience; schedule virtual academic advising appointments if requested.
- Act as a student liaison across college departments.
- Assist with course selection, registration, and scheduling of advising as needed.
- Ensure placement scores (SAT/ACT or multiple measures) are submitted and recorded.
- Respond to requests and refer students to institutional resources.
- Support outreach and recruitment activities and coordinate events (internal/external).
- Assist with event preparation, setup, and coordination; provide support for on- and off-campus events (high school visits, college fairs, open houses).
- Perform related duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Experience in a Higher Education setting preferred.
- Experience with Ellucian's Colleague MIS preferred.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions; excellent written and oral communication.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Nice to Have
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred. Compensation & Benefits
- Flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends; duties at any Atlantic Cape locations.
- Part-time position up to 26 hours per week.
- Possession of a valid New Jersey driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
