We are seeking an experienced English to German interpreter for remote, freelance interpreter projects. The role involves providing real-time interpretation for a variety of assignments, ensuring accuracy, fluency, and cultural relevance in both English and German.
- Provide real-time interpretation from English to German and vice versa during meetings, conferences, video calls, or events.
- Ensure accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation, maintaining the meaning and tone of the original message.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure that all client requirements and deadlines are met.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during all interpretation sessions.
- Adapt interpretation style to fit the formality and context of each session (e.g., legal, medical, corporate).
Requirements
- Native German speaker with excellent proficiency in English.
- At least 3-5 years of professional interpreting experience.
- Strong understanding of both English and German languages and cultures.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable internet connection and experience using virtual platforms for remote interpretation.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
