Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language effectively at the secondary school level.
- Prepare lesson plans, classwork, assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, comprehension and communication skills.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide appropriate feedback.
- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
- Participate in school activities and work effectively with other teachers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in English, English Education or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience after NYSC.
- Strong knowledge of the secondary school English Language curriculum.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Responsible, dedicated, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Test: Successful candidates will be required to write a subject-based test.
- Only candidates who meet the requirements and reside in Okota or its environs will be considered.
