About this role

About the Role Join Linde Advanced Material Technologies as an Engineering Technician in Ellisville, MS. You will collaborate with Quality and Engineering to reduce cost of poor quality, improve first-pass yield, and support new product introductions through data and documentation. You will also participate in reliability and maintenance initiatives to maximize equipment utilization.

What You'll Do

  • Work with Quality and Engineering to reduce COPQ, achieve acceptable first pass yield goals, support First Article Inspection (FAI) and SPS data for new product introductions and improvement of existing processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation for new applications, including job instructions, job routers, job safety analyses, standard operating procedures, etc.
  • Analyze reasons for equipment failure and lead Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts.
  • Participate in reliability-related incident investigations; prioritize action items and follow-up on their implementation.
  • Support Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) efforts to increase machine utilization, as defined by facility targets, and analyze process data; lead improvement projects.
  • Work as an integral team member on productivity projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma; support the design and modification of tooling/fixturing for new product introduction and improvement of existing processes; support design reviews with safety and ergonomic focus on plant systems and production equipment changes.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED and more than seven (7+) years of related experience; in lieu of some experience, an Associate’s degree with more than three (3+) years of related experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven ability to combine theoretical training with practical experience in a hands-on environment; effective project management skills with the ability to complete multiple projects independently; able to work closely with Quality / Engineering / Operations on assigned tasks.
  • Reliable to achieve assigned duties in a timely manner.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and/or weekends and holidays may be required.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred.
