About the Role Ashby is a remote-first company with colleagues working from 23 different countries in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. We're a nimble team of humans working together to do big things. We host an annual company-wide gathering, along with individual team meetups each year.
What You'll Do
- Design and build HRIS integrations (Rippling, BambooHR) to streamline data transfer with the click of a button.
- Build scripts to import customers' candidate data from CSV files to support partnerships with technology partners and recruiting firms.
- Contribute to internal tooling and infrastructure improvements (monitoring/observability, error tagging linked to user sessions).
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to expand and improve Ashby's capabilities, following a long-term, building-block approach.
What We're Looking For
- Experience designing and implementing HRIS integrations and data workflows.
- Ability to build and maintain data import pipelines and partner integrations.
- Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools (Datadog, Sentry) and linking issues to user recordings for repro steps.
- Comfortable working in a remote, globally distributed team and aligning with Ashby's long-term engineering philosophy.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing and maintaining a design system; ability to build reusable components.
- Interest in building scalable product features and improving customer experience.
