Job title: Engineering - Teaching Assistant
About the Role Part-time Teaching Assistant in the College of Engineering for undergraduate courses. The position is open to current engineering students or recent graduates who will assist with instructional duties and support the integration of Christian faith with learning in alignment with California Baptist University's mission.
What You'll Do
- Support undergraduate engineering courses within the College of Engineering as a teaching assistant, under faculty supervision.
- Assist with in-class activities, grading, office hours, tutoring, and other duties as needed to facilitate student learning.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, and collaborate with instructors to meet course goals.
- Be flexible and ready to assist in various capacities as needed to support the program.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an engineering program with a minimum 3.25 GPA.
- Pre-screened current engineering student or recent engineering graduate.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence through integration of Christian faith and learning.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to adapt to different teaching needs.
