FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY: As a Garrett Engineer Strategy intern your responsibilities can include these activities:
- Help drive Garrett engineering strategic priorities
- Build excel and data models to help make strategic decisions
- Build models to estimate should cost
- Create analytical models to estimate financial budgets for engineering
- Help map out the overall engineering strategy for the next 10 years
- Help optimize engineering suppliers, contract workers and global employee locations and footprint
- Provide support to drive Garrett engineering transformation
Expectation:
- Quick turnaround of mini projects
- Fast pace work
- Exposure to senior leaders at Garrett
- Understanding of how Garrett HQ and central decisions work
- Steep learning curve on data modeling, strategy, management and leadership
DESIRABLE BACKGROUND:
- Student pursuing last year of an Engineering degree
- A team player personality who likes to learn and wants to achieve her goals together with others
- Strong analytical and data mindset
- Experience with excel and datasheets
- Business and management acumen
- Engineering background or experience is a plus
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
