About the Role We are seeking an experienced Engineering Solution Architect to lead a large-scale migration from a SaaS platform to on-premise infrastructure for a major financial services organisation. The role requires strong technical leadership and hands-on delivery on complex migrations, acting as the primary technical point of contact and driving end-to-end strategy and architecture. What You'll Do
- Define end-to-end migration strategy and target architecture to move core systems from SaaS to on-premise infrastructure.
- Assess the current SaaS setup, identify dependencies, risks, and constraints; produce a clear roadmap with steps, sequencing, and technical considerations.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure the approach is technically sound, secure, and compliant with regulatory and operational requirements within financial services.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for the migration, providing direction to delivery teams and informing stakeholders of progress, risks, and key decisions.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and operational resilience throughout the engagement.
