Engineering Project Manager

About the Role Engineering Project Manager to lead small, multi-disciplinary engineering teams in the design, development, and production of cutting-edge custom products. You will own technical decisions and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers. What You'll Do

• Manage multiple projects valued in the $500k to $5M range with small(1-10) multidisciplinary teams
• Coordinate engineering development and small-scale production activities for custom products
• Be the point-of-contact for customers and lead day-to-day activities of project teams including junior and senior engineers
• Take projects through the full life cycle from concept/proposal through design and production using existing processes
• Coordinate across internal and external groups to meet cost, schedule, and technical goals while managing risk and motivating the team
• Contribute to organizational growth through interaction with senior management, peers, and subordinates
• Manage and complete performance reviews for project team members
• Participate in department growth and process improvement activities
• Maintain ultimate technical decision-making control during development of cutting-edge products
• Lead project teams via daily interactions, weekly meetings, and monthly customer reviews What We're Looking For
• Bachelors degree or higher; 7+ years of engineering experience
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain necessary security clearance for government contracts
• Strong technical background in wireless communications
• Experience managing people or leading a project
• High-level knowledge of hardware and software design principles
• Ability to analyze and evaluate technical trade-offs with consideration of cost and schedule
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in project management
• Occasional domestic travel required Nice to Have

• Target Base Salary Range: $98,100 - $156,200 USD
