Job title: Engineering Manager – SaaS Onboarding and Reliability
About the Role As an Engineering Manager (SRE) in our SaaS division, you will lead one or more Site Reliability Engineering teams focused on Azure-based infrastructure and client platform operations. Your mission is to enable high availability, performance, and operational excellence while coaching engineers and aligning with product goals and ITIL principles.
What You'll Do
- Lead 1–2 SRE teams responsible for Azure-based infrastructure and client platform operations
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to align SRE capabilities with product outcomes
- Act as a people manager, responsible for hiring, performance development, 1:1s, and career growth
- Guide teams through short-term sprints and long-term infrastructure evolution
- Foster a healthy, inclusive, and productive engineering culture
- Support teams in resolving technical challenges, collaborating on system design and automation
- Promote security best practices, reliability goals (SLOs/SLIs), and cross-team consistency
- Partner with other engineering managers and tech leads to define and deliver shared platform capabilities
- Champion operational excellence by setting and tracking relevant SRE metrics and KPIs
- Serve as a servant leader, enabling your team’s success and growth
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of leadership experience and ability to build followership
- Fluent in core SRE practices (monitoring, automation, CI/CD, incident response, IaC)
- Experience working in or managing teams using Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, especially incident and problem management
- Commitment to incremental progress over perfection and continuous improvement
