About the Role We are seeking an Engineering Manager for the Order Experience team at Instacart. This role leads the engineering effort behind end-to-end order experiences, partnering with product and design to deliver reliable and delightful checkout and order flow. The position supports a hybrid remote team and is focused on shipping impact at scale. What You'll Do
- Lead and grow a team of engineers focused on the Order Experience
- Collaborate with product, design, and data to define and execute the roadmap
- Ensure high-quality software delivery with a focus on reliability, performance, and scalability
- Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, architecture decisions, and best practices
- Align cross-functional partners and drive delivery milestones What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of leading software engineering teams, preferably in consumer order or checkout domains
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to influence product and design partners
- Experience shipping customer-facing features at scale and driving impact
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a hybrid/remote environment
