This role focuses on rethinking how we design and build software in the age of AI, moving from deterministic systems to AI-powered workflows that help real businesses run better every day. What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers while staying close to the technical work
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to design AI-powered workflows
- Architect and ship software on our Ruby on Rails and React stack
- Drive high-quality software, reliability, and shipping outcomes that matter
- Grow engineers around you and help them reach their potential
- Evangelize AI as a real tool to build better products faster What We're Looking For
- Experience leading product-focused engineering teams
- Hands-on software engineering background with Ruby on Rails and React
- Ability to translate business needs into elegant technical solutions
- Passion for AI as a tool, not a buzzword, and curiosity to explore new approaches
- Strong collaboration, communication, and coaching skills
- Demonstrated impact delivering meaningful products Nice to Have
- Experience building AI-powered features and agentic workflows
- Familiarity with LLM-integrated features and probabilistic systems
