Engineering Manager

About the Role CNH Industrial seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee engineering assignments across product development and product support, leading a team to deliver high-quality solutions for farmers and builders. You’ll provide technical leadership, ensure resources and alignment with strategic goals, and reinforce a collaborative engineering culture. What You'll Do

• Oversee engineering assignments for product development and product support functions assigned to the team.
• May perform the functions and responsibilities of an engineer as needed.
• Provide technical support to internal teams.
• Participate in or oversee the design process as needed.
• Monitor demand for engineering services and participate in planning to ensure adequate resources.
• Develop, formulate, and direct engineering processes and procedures.
• Coordinate new product or product changes into the company.
• Coordinate the development of key engineering deliverables.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of engineering documentation.
• Promote and maintain an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
• Provide assistance and direction on engineering issues, and keep staff informed of issues or concerns.
• Keep abreast of new developments in engineering design, methods, and applications.
• Assure staffing requirements are met.
• Encourage team member growth and development.
• Demonstrate support for company culture and encourage teams to do the same.
• Coordinate safety and ergonomics standards in the work area.
• Administer team member performance reviews, goal setting, and participate in salary planning.
• Maintain records on direct reports regarding attendance and performance.
• Keep informed of new developments in the technical profession.
• Provide technical leadership and direction.
• Lead the team to evaluate, review, and design new or enhanced products.
• Participate in development and execution of budgets, short- and long-term plans, policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to department budgets.
• Support all functions of the engineering process, including risk assessment, testing, and release of product.
• Work with the project manager to assure accurate and timely completion. What We're Looking For
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in product development and support functions.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design processes and documentation practices.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage resources and budgets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Strong focus on safety, ergonomics, and regulatory compliance.
• Continuous learner who keeps up with new engineering methods and technologies. Nice to Have
• Experience in agriculture or construction equipment domains.
• Familiarity with CNH Industrial products and industry standards.
