Engineering Lead

About the Role Lead engineering across Havenly Brands to migrate to a single platform while maintaining five storefronts on Shopify Hydrogen, Shopify Liquid, and Magento. You’ll own intake, prioritization, and delivery of site updates and integrations, ensuring reliability of storefronts and partner systems, and shaping how the team uses AI to move faster without sacrificing quality. What You'll Do

• Lead delivery across five brand storefronts on Shopify Hydrogen, Shopify Liquid, and Magento with a steady, prioritized flow of site updates, integrations, and fixes.
• Maintain reliability of storefronts and third-party integrations (payments, feeds, analytics, marketing tools, ERP/OMS NetSuite).
• Intake and prioritize business requests, translating merchandising, marketing, and operations needs into shipped work.
• Oversee the team’s code reviews, standards, and coaching; help engineers grow and take on more.
• Design and implement AI-enabled development workflows; ensure outputs meet requirements and quality bar.
• Drive migration of brands onto Shopify, consolidating onto a single platform over the coming year.
• Keep five storefronts and integrations stable with fast recovery; shorten turnaround on updates.
• Level up team practices and outputs; embed AI as a real part of how they build. What We're Looking For
• Strong, hands-on engineer who can code and also lead a team.
• Deep ecommerce platform experience with Shopify (Hydrogen and Liquid) as primary; Magento a plus.
• Full-stack across APIs, third-party integrations, feeds, and payments.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers; capability to raise the team's bar, coach people, and improve workflows.
• Strong prioritization and clear communication with non-technical partners.
• Experience using AI to build and review code and accelerate team delivery. Nice to Have
• Experience replatforming or migrating ecommerce sites onto Shopify.
• Multi-brand or multi-storefront commerce experience.
• Experience with feed/catalog systems and ERP/OMS (NetSuite) integrations.
• Experience leading a distributed team. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year; eligible for company equity.
