Job title: Engineering IP Program Manager, Principal

About the Role IP Program Manager, Principal will be part of Marvell's Central Engineering program management team responsible for IP development and delivery for Marvell's products and custom silicon. The role leads IP programs from conception through Mass Production Release (MPR), coordinating across analog, logic, DFT, layout, timing, validation, and PnR. It requires partnering with product business units and executive stakeholders to ensure timely and successful IP delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Own the program management of IP development and delivery to Marvell product business units, focusing on dependencies, deliverables, and status in partnership with the Central Engineering PM team.
  • Define and communicate dependencies and deliverables from local skill groups and manage these with the broader Central Engineering Program Management organization.
  • Drive closure of IP specifications and requirements.
  • Chair weekly cross-functional meetings to assess status, milestones, and completeness of plans, with regular updates to Marvell's executive stakeholders.
  • Support Marvell’s Program Management Processes.
  • Provide matrixed leadership of engineering managers distributed across the organization.
  • Execute lessons learned, risk management, and enforce agreed processes.
  • Ensure successful outcome of IP development and delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • BS in Electrical Engineering; MSEE preferred; or MS/PhD in CS or EE with 5-10 years of related experience.
  • 6+ years of experience as an Engineering Project Manager in the Semiconductor industry.
  • 6+ years of experience as a mixed-signal IP designer.
  • Preferred experience as a mixed-signal design manager.
  • Knowledge of SoC/IC design flow for advanced process technologies and silicon development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with technical managers to drive projects to completion.
  • Demonstrated effective partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Must have a broad background in ASIC or other Microelectronics semiconductor product development.

Nice to Have

  • Preferred: experience as a mixed-signal IP designer; mixed-signal design manager.
