Job title: Engineering Internship
About the Role An Engineering Internship at P&G's Innovation Center in Brussels to explore technical creativity in automation and smart technologies. You will own projects from day one, collaborating with Manufacturing, R&D and other groups to improve capability, safety and efficiency of our systems while reducing costs and boosting sustainability. The internship program generally runs for 13 weeks up to 1 year, starting at different times during the year.
What You'll Do
- Design and evaluate technical options for achieving business objectives
- Study technical feasibility using high-end computer modeling and simulation
- Lead economic evaluations and consultations with Manufacturing, Research & Development and other contributing groups
- Design, develop and procure new processing equipment
- Develop and conduct acceptance tests on equipment purchased from vendors
- Tackle equipment problems working closely with production staff on new or existing operations
- We will coach you and give you responsibilities, as well as full ownership for your projects, with exposure to management
- You will receive feedback to grow and develop
What We're Looking For
- Engineering student at Master or PhD level in Mechatronics/Controls/Chemical/Process/Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical/Environmental
- You will still be enrolled at university throughout the internship
- You are available for at least 13 weeks (3 months)
- You are proficient in English, and have skills such as technical curiosity, creativity, innovation, initiative, communication, leadership and the ability to work with others
