Job title: Engineering Intern
About the Role ANDRITZ is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the Environment & Energy team in Muncy, PA. The intern will be an active partner in the engineering team, contributing to 2D/3D drawing creation and revision, concept design, and cross-department problem solving within a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Revise 2D & 3D drawings in accordance with Engineering Change Management procedures.
- Create fully constrained 3D models of products ranging from simple components to complex assemblies.
- Create simplified 3D models and general layout drawings of equipment for Sales inquiries.
- Assist engineers to develop design solutions for existing and new products (Lifecycle Management / R&D).
- Provide cross-department support (Quality, Engineering, Assembly, Procurement & Manufacturing).
- Adhere to and promote ANDRITZ 8 Life-Saving Rules and #1ANDRITZway values.
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment in an accredited mechanical engineering or similar postsecondary program.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault.
