Engineering Designer

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Designer to develop and maintain fiber optic network designs, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with FTTH/FTTx network design, proficiency in CAD and GIS software, and a strong understanding of fiber optic technologies. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to telecommunications infrastructure projects, collaborate with engineering teams, and support the delivery of high-quality network design solutions

Work schedule: Monday - Friday from 15:00 till 23:00

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed fiber optic network designs, including layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Prepare and update FTTH/FTTx network plans using CAD tools and GIS design software.
• Analyze project requirements and translate them into accurate and efficient network designs.
• Apply knowledge of fiber optic technology, including cabling, splicing, and signal transmission, to ensure design accuracy.
• Review design documentation to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to support project execution.
• Revise designs based on project updates, technical feedback, and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate design documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members when required.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience designing fiber optic networks, including FTTH/FTTx projects.
• Proficiency in CAD tools and GIS design software.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic technologies, including cabling, splicing, and signal transmission.
• Understanding of FTTH network architecture and design principles.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and project specifications.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
