Regular Employment Apply now Share Location: London, GB Interested in helping insure the UK's most complex construction and infrastructure projects?Join Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and play a key role in underwriting major UK construction projects—from buildings to transport and energy infrastructure, data centers, and industrial facilities.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive underwriter with construction insurance experience to deepen their technical expertise, develop a sustainable portfolio and build a long-term career with a leading global insurer.About the RoleAs an Engineering & Construction Underwriter based in London, you'll be responsible for underwriting a portfolio of UK construction risks, partnering with brokers, clients, risk engineers, and claims specialists to deliver effective insurance solutions.You will build on your existing construction underwriting experience while gaining exposure to major projects across the UK construction sector.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and underwrite Construction All Risks (CAR), Erection All Risks (EAR), Delay in Start-Up (DSU) and other related construction covers.Analyse construction project information, including contractors, construction methods, technologies, schedules and risk controlsNegotiate policy terms, conditions, and pricing with brokers and clientsMonitor project performance throughout the construction lifecycle and
