About the Role Provide engineering support to manufacturing equipment and processes at BorgWarner's Singapore Plant. The role involves carrying out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, upgrading hardware and control software, identifying process problems to improve quality and reduce scrap, and updating and controlling spare parts.
What You'll Do
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing equipment and processes
- Carry out preventative maintenance of production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty production equipment
- Improve and upgrade production equipment hardware and control software
- Identify and rectify process problems for quality improvement and scrap reduction
- Update and control of equipment spare parts
What We're Looking For
- Interest or experience in engineering support for manufacturing equipment and processes
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for production equipment
- Familiarity with hardware and software control systems
- Ability to identify process issues affecting quality and scrap reduction
- Experience with preventative maintenance
- Ability to manage and maintain equipment spare parts and work with cross-functional teams
- Onsite work at Singapore Plant
