As the CAE Project Engineer, you will support the development of automotive roof systems through simulation, virtual validation, technical analysis, and feasibility studies. Working with Senior and Lead CAE Engineers, you will contribute to components, subsystem, and system-level CAE activities while ensuring compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and engineering processes.

You will play a key role in delivering robust, reliable, virtual validation activities (CAE) by applying high end FEA software, supporting technical problem-solving, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle. What are your responsibilities?

• Execute CAE feasibility studies by conducting stress analysis (FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for assigned components and subsystems.
• Translate the customer requirements, specifications and expectations into a CAE design verification plan;
• Ensure assigned CAE deliverables meet product development milestones and project gateway requirements, translating CAE results into clear presentations and reports.
• Support structured problem-solving and corrective action activities under the guidance of Senior and Lead CAE Engineers.
• Execute CAE simulations and generate clear documentation and technical reports using engineering systems and processes, with correlation CAE results with physical test results.
• Prepare complete simulation models, including meshing, material definitions, contacts, and boundary conditions using Abaqus and Altair.
• Perform implicit and explicit simulations and interpret simulation results to support engineering decisions
• Support correlation activities between CAE results and physical validation data.
• Communicate and report CAE results to internal design teams and to customers.
• Contribute to concept evaluations and technical comparisons supporting engineering and commercial decision-making.

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics of Mathematics.
• 3–5 years of automotive engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of Inalfa roof systems and applicable engineering standards.
• Experience with CAE engineering, simulation, virtual validation, product development, and technical problem-solving.
• CAE tools experience with Hyper Mesh, HyperView and Abaqus, experience in LS-dyna is a pro.
• Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA), simulation methodologies, and engineering processes.
• Familiarity with Abaqus, Altair, Hyper Mesh, and engineering release processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project commitments.

Salary Range

Slovakia: 2.217,00 - 3.167,00 - 4.117,00 EUR Monthly
