About the Role We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to manage and govern master data at Alstom in Bangalore. You'll apply your data management and analytical skills to ensure data accuracy, security, and consistency across engineering, IT operations, and manufacturing, enabling seamless information flow across the organization. What You'll Do
- Ensure consistency of master data in compliance with engineering core processes
- Manage and maintain data governance documentation and standard operating procedures
- Resolve complex queries and issues related to data management
- Support and train key users globally
- Analyze and cleanse large volumes of data
- Prepare dashboards, audit summaries, and KPI reports
- Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and RPA
- Participate in projects and new tool implementations, including Tibco EBX
- Provide expertise in 3D simplification for parts and address cross-data dependencies What We're Looking For
- A degree in engineering, technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of overall experience, with at least 4 years in parts management
- Experience with scripting, AI, and continuous improvement enablers
- Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6
- Knowledge of data science methodologies
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Python, and Java
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to challenge the status quo
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently while being an effective team player
- Positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and development Nice to Have
- Previous experience in the railway industry
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
