At, Radisson Blu Hotel, Amsterdam City Center no two days are the same. One moment you're troubleshooting an electrical fault, up next you're carrying out preventive maintenance, supporting a renovation project, or working alongside specialist contractors on complex installations.

We are looking for a dedicated Enigneer to join our Technical Department. If you enjoy solving technical challenges, taking ownership, and seeing the direct impact of your work, we'd love to meet you!

As our Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping our hotel safe, operational, and running without interruption. You'll join our technical department, where teamwork and collaboration are key to deliver the best guest experience.

Your work includes:

• Maintaining guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and technical equipment;
• Repairing electrical, mechanical, and building-related installations;
• Carrying out preventive maintenance and inspections;
• Installing and maintaining electrical systems;
• Preparing and supporting renovation and improvement projects;
• Working together with external contractors and ensuring work is completed safely;
• Identifying opportunities before small issues become major problems.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a technical maintenance or engineering role (hotel experience is a plus, not a must);
• Knowledge of electrical installations and/or mechanical engineering;
• An eye for detail;
• Flexibility and a positive, Yes I Can! Attitude;
• Strong verbal (English) communication skills;
• Is a creative problem-solver;
• Good communication skills English;
• Flexibility to participate in a fair rotating weekend schedule shared across the technical team, and take part in the on-call duty roster.
