Engineer - Quality Assurance

About the Role ESAB is seeking an Engineer - Quality Assurance to perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products in accordance with established procedures. The role includes calibrating and maintaining lab and analytical equipment, preparing investigations and reports, and updating standard operating procedures. A degree with little to no prior professional experience is typical for this position.

What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products according to established procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain lab and analytical equipment.
• Compile data for documentation of test procedures, including stability program testing and formulation studies.
• Participate in investigations, summaries, and reports; review data for compliance with specifications and report abnormalities.
• Revise and update standard operating procedures as needed.
• May perform special projects on analytical and instrument problem solving.
• May develop testing and analysis methods and procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
• Learn to apply professional concepts, basic principles, and theories; solve routine problems of limited scope following established policies.
• Normally receive detailed instructions on most work and typically require a degree and little to no prior professional experience.

• Able to work under detailed instructions and follow established policies.
